Cape Cod Day 3

Day 3 started out pretty good until the really bad t-storms moved in. We headed down to Hyannis for our pirate adventure and took in a few of the sights before.

Cape Cod Chip Factory - this is just a walking tour through the factory, pretty uneventful, but you get two bags of free chips per person on the other end. Of course, my bag of chips were stale - go figure!

This was a regular catch for a fisherman at the dock. He had a big batch of flounder, and conch shells. I was amazed you could get conch shells this far North. He said this was as far north as you could find them in the warm waters.

These were the biggest horse shoe crabs I have ever saw. I asked if people ate them, he said just the Japanese, but not really anyone around here. Instead the blood was used for research.

The girls were painted and all dressed up for their pirate adventure. Unfortunately, we lasted about 10 mins on the ship and our trip was aborted due to very bad t-storms moving in. We got off the ship just in time, the storms were really bad. So, we get to go back again tomorrow.

Heave Ho! The pirates raise the flag!

At night we went out shopping, but couldn't really find anything to buy. The girls rode the carousel at the Cape Cod Mall and then we headed back to the condo. Tomorrow brings a new pirate adventure!
