Playing at Emelia's Pool

Lexi's friend from school, invited us over for the day to play in her pool. The kids loved it and we even had a cookout by the pool.

Garden Update

Here is the latest update on our garden. We had a few strawberries, which someone got to before we did and the kids enjoyed some lettuce with their cheeseburgers.

Reading Friends & Family Day

Great weather and a great time we had! I helped to host two booths, one for Girl Scouts and one for work (MVRH).

At night we returned to listen to a band play and watch the fireworks. It went from 90 degrees during the day, to a cool breeze at night - sweatshirt wearing night!
The girls hula hooped and played frisbee while listening to the music.
Olivia has a talent she can hula hoop for about 15 mins straight and make the hula hoop go up to her shoulders and down to her knees all without stopping.

Tink's New Ride

My girls have proven to be very good little mommies. They take care of their little kitty, by feeding her, giving her fresh water, cleaning her litter box and taking her to the vet for her shots. Here they are pushing her around in the doll carriage. Somehow this little kitty tolerates all the loving she is getting from the girls. But, when they sleep, she bites their toes and chews on their hair - payback!

Lexi's Last Day of Preschool Year 1

Lexi enjoyed her last day of preschool (year 1). Parents were invited in, where the kids sang a few songs and we watched a slideshow of memories throughout the year. Then, each kid was asked to come to Ms. Joyce and she said what she liked most about them. Ms. Joyce said Lexi always come in with a big smile and is always happy, that is what she likes most of Lexi!

Next year, due to enrollment at the preschool, Lexi will be in a classroom at Joshua Eaton Elementary (where Olivia goes). Much easier for me, rather than driving half way across town to the high school. Lexi is excited to be going to Olivia's school and her best friend, Emelia will be attending Kindergarten there as well.

Garden Part 2

Garden pictures part 2. Here is a shot of our front yard. This is the new trellis that will eventually hold the Wysteria. The replacement Wysteria for the one my dad cut down on his own decision last year.

Strawberries

Tomatoes

Since these pictures, we have planted a garden and have been having fun watching our garden expand greatly! More pics to come now that I have a camera again!

Introducing Tink

Introducing our newest family member, Tink. And if you are counting that is 7 pets, OMG! Mackenzie, Nikko, Gizmo, Winnie, Coco, Fireball and now Tink. But who could resist a kitty that was at the junkyard. She is a great little kitty and the girls are great mothers to her, now if we can just get Gizmo to feel the same way.

Beach Day

Olivia finally gave in on a half day beautiful day, when I said, do you want to skip school today and head out to the beach. She finally jumped at the chance, knowing she wouldn't get in trouble. Here are a few pics from our day at the beach.

Happy 4th Birthday Lexi!

We celebrated Lexi's 4th birthday, with a birthday party at Plaster Fun Time. Lexi invited her family friends and girl classmates. She quickly changed her mind from a Princess Tiana Party to her favorite character SpongeBob!
