2nd Grade Wax Museum

Olivia's classroom held an open house to a wax museum. The classroom lights were out and we were invited in to tour the museum. We would flash our flashlight on each of the kids and the statues would come to life and tell us a story of their life. Then they would freeze back up for the next person. Check out the video at the bottom of the blog to see some pics.

Olivia was Christa McAuliffe.

Our Garden Is Sprouting!

We have planted most of our seeds and are having great fun watching them starting to sprout. This year we are planning to have a garden in the yard rather than just on the deck.

Tomatoes!
Strawberries!

Squash!

Lettuce!

Peppers!

Cucumbers!

We still have potatoes, pineapples, watermelons, pumpkins, and a few others things I can't remember.

Easter Morning

Easter morning, the girls woke to these lovely baskets that the bunny left. Both mom and I had to work this Easter so we had a small ham dinner on Saturday evening.

Olivia loved her diary the best.

Lexi loved her crabby patties!

Easter Egg Hunting

On Saturday, we also had an Easter Egg Hunt. I hid the eggs around the yard and both girls ran around trying to fill up their baskets.

Rockin with the Easter Bunny!

What a great time we had at breakfast with the bunny at The Hard Rock Cafe in Boston and we couldn't ask for better weather.
There was a great breakfast buffet with everything you could imagine.
Everyone got their picture taken with the bunny, including me and Fawn.
The girls got their faces painted, as well as tatoos and goodie bags.
Afterwards, we took a quick walk over to fanueil hall and stopped for a pic!

Rain, Rain, Go Away

This was the view out of my back door with the last rain storm we had. The storm drain overflowed into the park. Thank goodness that the water doesn't run up hill and we were lucky that we didn't get any water at all. Our neighbors on the otherhand were drying out for about one week.

Pretty Ladies

These pretty ladies came to my house today, do they look familiar to you?

Maple Sugaring

We enjoyed an afternoon with some of the Girl Scouts learning about how maple sugar is made.

Olivia's 8th Birthday

We celebrated Olivia's 8th birthday with a Chinese tea party. I ordered these beautiful dresses for the girls and delivered the dresses as the invitations to the party. The girls made crafts, ate chinese food and had a great time!

Puppy Kisses!

The girls get puppy kisses from our friends new puggle puppy, Blades!

My Computer Geek

Isn't it so amazing how young the kids can learn to do the computer. Lexi gets to play online while Olivia is at school then it is Olivia's turn.
