Christmas Morning

Olivia and I were talking back and forth in bed about 1am. Are you awake? Yes, I am awake? Did you hear Santa? No, I didn't hear Santa? Do you think he came yet? I don't know maybe he came at 11? Let's go back to sleep. Good idea!

At 5:30am Olivia was ready to get up and see what Santa brought. Lexi on the other hand, still sleeping. We gave her about 1/2 hr then woke her up.

The girls open up the Disney Princess Vanity/Piano Table

Remote control trucks, just what every girl needs!

Lexi reviewed each present she opened up.

Mackie covered in wrappings.

I got a hummer!

Christmas presents!

The girls got everything they asked for from Santa. Olivia received a FLIP video camera and DS games and japanese erasers. Lexi got the princess table and barbie dolls, as well as some clothes all the way from China (thanks Aleisa). They also got a Zhu Zhu pet!
And best of all, Santa came through with tickets for us to go to Disney on Ice as well as some tickets for our friends to join us!

Christmas Eve - Cookies For Santa

Cookies for Santa were left out along with this note that Olivia wrote.

If you do not get every things on my list, its ok. I understand because the elfs are so busy working they can't get everything the good boys and girls want! Love, Olivia Bullock

Christmas Eve - Reindeer Food

Lexi made reindeer food at preschool this year. So on Christmas Eve after their tubs, the girls spread out the food all over the front yard. The glitter attracts the reindeer to our house and the oatmeal is a yummy snack for them while waiting for Santa to bring the presents in the house.

Lexi's First School Performance

Yesterday was Lexi's first school performance. The parents were invited to the classroom for a sing a long. It was so much fun seeing the 3-4 yrs old singing. My shy little girl was the hit of the party, laughing hysterically and having a ball. At the end of the performance each child gave their mom a gift. They made ornaments and a calendar for us.

Lexi and her friend Emelia

Lexi patiently waiting to start singing.

The class sings Jingle Bells (turn off the music at the bottom of the blog to hear)!

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two ??? Front Teeth

Well we were wishing for two front teeth, but it seems we have one stubborn tooth and the other tooth has come out. A few more days before Christmas and we will see if the second tooth falls out. Tooth Fairy left a Merry Christmas note and an extra dollar for Christmas, how lucky!

Olivia's Holiday Concert

Olivia's annual holiday concert. It is so funny seeing the Kindergartners so into singing, then the 1st graders losing a little of their energy, then of course my second grader worried that her tooth was going to fall out, so tried to sing with her mouth closed.

Here is Olivia on stage, with her friends Beth, Maria and Nico. The 2nd grade rendition of Deck The Halls!

Lexi's Gingerbread House

Lexi has made her first gingerbread house and reindoor food at school. It is so much fun seeing her go through all the motions that Olivia did and re-live them again.

Lexi saw a Santa picture where he wasn't wearing a hat. I had Lexi convinced that Santa lost his hat and we found it! Here she shows me that she has Santa's hat!

My Two Pet Guinea Pigs!

I have 2 guinea pigs at my house. The one you see above my typing is Coco.
This one is called Winnie.

Before his name was G why because g stands for guinea pig.

Coco is usually hides in his house.

Winnie has been here for 1 year Coco has only been here for one day.

Here is a tip you need to keep him/her on a rug.

Guinea pigs need their cage cleaned every week. They also need attention and a girl guinea pig can not be with another girl guinea pig or they will fight.I promise to always take care of Winnie and Coco.

Merry Christmas!

Hear the music? Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to check out our Christmas Video in lieu of cards this year. This is a collection of some of our favorite photos and memories of 2009!

Mahoney's

Last night we ventured off to Mahoney's Garden Center in the snow storm. We enjoyed looking at all the decorated Christmas trees. The girls could pick out one ornament each, but came home with itty bitty trees instead.

Decorating The Tree

In the 65 degree whether on Thursday, we headed off to Home Depot to check out the $30 9ft trees. Here the picky tree pickers are scoping out the trees. It was hard to decide since the trees where all netted, so we just chose by height.

Yes, this one looks tall enough!

Dad couldn't believe I made him put the tree in the carriage and push it out to the car. It worked, didn't it!

Loading the tree up on my roof, we couldn't take dad's SUV, it would get dirty!!!
Oh! and the kids are locked in the back seat, as we wrapped the string around the doors....he-hee..

Lexi cuts the netting off the tree.

Good job Lexi and Papa!

Mom and Olivia hang the lights and the garland. Olivia is behind the tree helping!

Papa puts the star up! Olivia couldn't reach this year!

The girls were in charge of hanging all the ornaments.

Lexi helps put the skirt around the bottom of the tree. Olivia is behind the tree again.

The finished project!

The living room mantel all decorated with Olivia's nutcrackers.
