Living On Walnut St: Day 2 Water Country

Today we went to Water Country...luckily we got there one hour before they opened and stayed in line, got front row parking and prime seating at the wave pool. Everyone had a blast! We loved the Hubba Hubba Highway.

Not a lot of pictures from Water Country as I didn't have my camera on me at all times...we may go back another day and I will try to take more pics!

Once we got back to the hotel, the girls immediately went to the pool. Didn't make much sense to me, since we just spent the entire day in water. The pool actually looks good in this pic! It is very funny, the lounge chairs are missing straps and the plastic loungers are broken. Even the life ring is broken in pieces attached to a 100 year old rope. I guess we got what we paid for! Oh and those other people in pic to the right, are what you would called trailer trash...although very nice and gave us a lot of pointers, they actually work at the other hotel that these hotel owners own and came down to swim. He didn't mind sitting in the lounge chair with just a few straps because he was totally wasted!!

One of the pointers was to eat at CiCi's Pizza. For just $5.49 it was all you can eat salad, soup, pasta, pizza and desert, the kids ate for $3.49. It was so nice to meet "the people" at the pool. I guess I shouldn't have been making jokes about the No Tell Motel and how much this hotel was a dive, because they seemed to really be enjoying it.
