Olivia's American Girl Party

Today we celebrated Olivia's 9th birthday! She invited two friends to the American Girl Bistro for brunch and then we returned home to play and do some crafts. I also suprised her with custom mini birthday cakes!

Memories from our visit with Louisa

Awaiting the arrival of LiYao Yang (Louisa) - our chinese exchange student

The girls are very excited and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Chinese exchange student, Louisa. We signed up for the exchange program through the schools. Louisa will be staying with us for one week and then will be travelling to NYC and Washington, DC before heading home.

She is 14yrs old and lives in Beijing, this is a picture of her and her family. She is the only child.

We are looking forward to a great week ahead!
