Olivia's Mothers Poem

Olivia has written a mothers poem which she would like all mothers to say when they wake up or go to sleep.

I am a mother a strong proud one
I will let my children feel the nice warm sun

I will keep my word to keep my kids safe from harm
I will bring them to the hospital if they break their arm

I will make them a warm feast on a cold day
And keep them from bees each and every May

That's my oath that I will keep
I will say it when I wake up and go to sleep

2010 A New Decade - The Top 10 Events Of The Last Decade

A new decade brings new adventures for us, here is a list of my biggest 10 events from the last decade.

10. Going from having alot of money to living pay check to pay check (but happier)
9. Selling our houses and moving to Walnut St
8. Travelling (Iceland, Alaska, Hawaii, Carribbean)
7. Being independtly single
6. Road trip to PA!
5. Visiting Disney World and viewing it through your daughters eyes
4. Olivia in Children's hospital ICU and Lexi getting surgery
3. Fantastic once in a lifetime Hawaii trip with our friends (money was no object)
2. Walking on the Great Wall of China and travelling to China twice (meeting great friends as well)
1. The adoption of my two daughters!

I am sure there are many other events that have happened but these are the top 10 things that quickly pop in my mind.

Here's looking to another decade of memories....

Christmas Morning

Olivia and I were talking back and forth in bed about 1am. Are you awake? Yes, I am awake? Did you hear Santa? No, I didn't hear Santa? Do you think he came yet? I don't know maybe he came at 11? Let's go back to sleep. Good idea!

At 5:30am Olivia was ready to get up and see what Santa brought. Lexi on the other hand, still sleeping. We gave her about 1/2 hr then woke her up.

Christmas presents!

The girls got everything they asked for from Santa. Olivia received a FLIP video camera and DS games and japanese erasers. Lexi got the princess table and barbie dolls, as well as some clothes all the way from China (thanks Aleisa). They also got a Zhu Zhu pet!

And best of all, Santa came through with tickets for us to go to Disney on Ice as well as some tickets for our friends to join us!

Christmas Eve - Cookies For Santa

If you do not get every things on my list, its ok. I understand because the elfs are so busy working they can't get everything the good boys and girls want! Love, Olivia Bullock

Christmas Eve - Reindeer Food

Lexi made reindeer food at preschool this year. So on Christmas Eve after their tubs, the girls spread out the food all over the front yard. The glitter attracts the reindeer to our house and the oatmeal is a yummy snack for them while waiting for Santa to bring the presents in the house.

Lexi's First School Performance

Yesterday was Lexi's first school performance. The parents were invited to the classroom for a sing a long. It was so much fun seeing the 3-4 yrs old singing. My shy little girl was the hit of the party, laughing hysterically and having a ball. At the end of the performance each child gave their mom a gift. They made ornaments and a calendar for us.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two ??? Front Teeth

Well we were wishing for two front teeth, but it seems we have one stubborn tooth and the other tooth has come out. A few more days before Christmas and we will see if the second tooth falls out. Tooth Fairy left a Merry Christmas note and an extra dollar for Christmas, how lucky!
